
It’s the day of the party, you’re scrambling to get everyone dressed on time, and then it hits you…You forgot to pick something up to bring with you. I have been here so many times. While sugar cookies from the grocery are nice, this 5 min sangria is sure to be a hit. I’m not a red wine drinker, but the Wine Guy at Central Market assured me that last summer he tried all the reds, and this one is great. To be honest, I know so little about wine that when he handed it to me and I didn’t see the price I got super nervous. I was so scared the cashier was going to tell me it was a $50 bottle (LOL). In hindsight, the screw top should have tipped me off. To my relief, this bottle was under $9 [praise]. When I got home I researched the wine, and it had great reviews from people who know a lot more about wine than me.
What you need:
- 1 Bottle of Red Wine (I used Los Dos Grenache+Syrah)
- 1 Bottle of Central Market Italian Soda- Blood Orange
- 1/2 Bottle of Central Market Italian Soda- Pomegranate
- Fruit of choice (I used oranges and blackberries)
Mix together, wait an hour and enjoy! Since you’re using fruit flavored Italian soda, you don’t have to wait hours for the fruit to be infused and add flavor. I love that the
